My name is Paul Cooper and I've chosen to live in East Leake. It is a vibrant and happy place to live. It has a healthy mix of people from all walks of life, young and old and although it might not have the stunning landscapes of my native Peak District, it has a healthy climate, a lively community and a warm welcome. It also has a thriving business community and a good selection of shops and services which we should support and promote. This website is my way of putting something back into the village that has adopted me and ensure that it remains a happy and comfortable place to live, work and retire in the future. Support your local shops, trades and services - use them or lose them  I operate and maintain it entirely at my expense so it is independent, impartial and non-political. It is regularly updated, maintained to high professional standards and promoted in directories & search engines worldwide. Please make best use of the opportunities it offers and  feel free to contact me if you need help or advice. Donations are always welcome from advertisers but standard advertising will always be free of charge. Click here to request Free Advertising on the East Leake website Directory.

Invoice Payments Print E-mail

To make a payment: Simply enter the number of the invoice we sent to you and the amount payable into the PayPal module on the left of this page. You will then be taken to the PayPal website where you can complete the transaction. You will shortly receive an acknowledgement for your payment from PayPal and subsequently another from East Leake Online.

All our financial transactions are conducted through PayPal which is one of the most reputable and long standing of online payment gateways. In fact you can now use PayPal in lots of high street shops and online stores. This ensures that you remain in control of your financial details and we have absolutely no need (or wish) to know them. Setting up your own account is quick and easy. Once set up you can use your account to make secure payments without having to enter your details each time - and it's FREE.

Security Note: You can always tell when you're using a secure website by looking at the website address - it should start with https:// instead of the more usual http:// - the letter 's' is the key and indicates a secure website. In addition, depending on your browser, there will be a small padlock icon  showing somewhere at the top or bottom of your browser window. If either of these is missing you should be suspicious. Depending on your browser, the address bar might change colour - another indicator to help you tell if a website is secure or not.

If you click the  icon when you're viewing a secure web page you can examine the security certificate for the website in question - worth knowing when you use online banking. Just remember that nothing is infallible so make sure you NEVER use a link from an email to access a secure website, especially in response to those asking you to confirm your details. They are ALWAYS fraudulent and could compromise your identity or financial details.

If you're still unsure about the security status of any website, check to see if there is an easy way to contact them by telephone. They should also include other contact details so that you can verify their identity and location. Always beware of websites that can take your money or personal information without giving you reliable contact information. There are usually lots of others that are trustworthy and reliable so take your business to them instead.

Thank you for using East Leake Online.
