East Leake Traders Online
"Some regard private enterprise as if it were a predatory tiger to be shot. Others look upon it as a cow that they can milk. Only a handful see it for what it really is - the strong horse that pulls the whole cart". Winston Churchill
If you want to find a shop, a business, a service, amenity - in fact anything that serves the area, you should find it here or at least find a link to more information. When you find what you're looking for, you can use the link at the bottom to produce a perfectly formatted, text-only print-out with all the details you require. Choose from the tab-menu above or enter a word (or series of words separated by spaces) such as 'plumber' or 'takeaway' or 'estate agent' into the search box below. This will take you directly to the Search Page where you should find your results.
Find a local takeaway, read their online menu and order a delivery from your computer so no more out-of-date takeaway menus stuck on the fridge!
Find a recipe from our local food shops or household hints from the local hardware shop and even the latest weather outlook.
Advertise your unwanted items in our new Photo Classified section - even your house or car. It's free and you're in control so you can add, change or delete your ad at any time.
Our listings aim to be complete and not just a simple advert or contact details - we are happy to include opening hours, email, menus, special offers and provide high-profile links to advertisers websites. By condensing information in one place like this, we hope to create greater awareness and expand the area covered to bring in more business.
We will be adding more as the website develops so keep coming back and bookmark us! If you know of something that should be here but isn't, tell us so we can include it.
We're not in competition with anyone locally so if you have a business or other interest, even another website, you can promote it here and all the information we publish is freely available so anyone is welcome to use it.
We are in competition with other shopping centres, in particular supermarkets that take trade away from the village on the pretext of 'cheaper' shopping! In fact when you consider the rising cost of fuel used to travel outside the village and the pollution it causes, not to mention the known fact that most people buy more than they intend to when they visit a supermarket, it often proves to be false economy and wasteful.
Support our village traders and shop locally - it's only common sense!
